Recruitment Marketing
VDSS is responsible for providing mental health resources for local agencies across the Commonwealth. The agency needed a marketing plan to help local agencies fill positions. I managed the development of a branding and recruitment marketing plan, supporting materials, and staff training. This project won a 2025 Marcom Platinum Award for Recruitment Marketing Toolkit. |

Harms Report and Land Acknowledgement Toolkit
As part of Los Angeles County's development of a Countywide Land Acknowledgment, I designed the “We Are Still Here” harms report and a Countywide Land Acknowledgment toolkit that included brand guide, implementation guidance, an activity book for children, and more. This project won an 2023 and 2024 Hermes Award and one Marcom Award.

PLANRVA
Long Range Transportation Plan and Bike and Pedestrian Plan
Sarah supported development of a Community Engagement Strategy and Implementation Plan for PlanRVA, their first strategic initiative since their recent rebrand and the first comprehensive strategy for equitable and inclusive engagement. Sarah then put that strategy into practice by designing and expanding the brand for documents needed for the public review period of the organization’s long-range transportation plan, ConnectRVA 2045 and related technical reports. For BikePedRVA 2045, the region’s first bicycle and pedestrian plan in nearly two decades, Sarah led the creation of all outreach materials to support meetings, pop-up events, and social media campaigns. She designed the final document with accessibility at the forefront, ensuring 508-compliance, and adding easy-to-understand visual elements.
